In a word, these suck. The sound is not much louder than spillover from a really loud set of headphones. Not worth the money. Utter crap if you’ve got a Nano.

good little set of portable speakers for the price. Not amazing, not horrible…exactly what I was expecting!
I bought this based on all the reviews that users had submitted. They were gifts so I do not know how they stood up. The recepients loved them when they opened them.
I bought this speaker for use during travel. I like the built-in cord and overall design. The sound quality is also good with deep base as other have pointed out. However, at the highest volume setting, this speaker turns off automatically after playing for a while. It’s possible that this is a defective piece and I’m returning it for that reason.
Bought this speaker based on reviews from Amazon. I wanted soemthing compact that I could travel with and listen to my iPod in bed without the earphones digging in my ears. I purchased this back in November and LOVED it. Simple, sleak, decent enough sound for something small and I definitely intended to travel with it. Put it in a drawer by my nightstand and when I pulled it out again last night to use it, found that the on/off switch was broken. The contact has somehow gone bad and it will not stay on –press the button and it immediately goes off again. It’s not the batteries and I definitely didn’t abuse it! Quality control definitely NOT working on this one. Now I have to see if either Amazon or the manufacturer will replace it. What a hassle.
I LOVE THIS THING IT WORKS GREAT BUT THE BUTTON IS TO PRONOUNCED IT STICKS UP TO FAR MAKING IT EASY TO TURN ON IN LUGGAGE ECT.
Well, what can I say? These cables really either work, or don’t work. And, this one works!
I actually prefer it’s non-glossy plugs on the end vs. the original glossy finish on the plugs found on the original cables. The plug itself is of durable construction, and I can easily charge and sync my iPod Nano with no issues whatsoever.
I found this very useful, and it was a great price! Great if you need a replacement!
This does what it is suppose to do..however the iPod connector does not “lock” into the iPod. So it can fall out if you aren’t careful. Just be aware of this and know that it does do it’s job but at the same time can drive you up the wall if you expect it to stay put.
I bought it to replace my original cable that came with my iPod, but had I known this was a cheap imitation of the one from iPod I would have spent more money to get a more durable cable.
I love this speakers, I carry them everywhere I go. They are really small so you can carry them in your pocket or purse. Great for sharing your music in any situation. The battery is excelent, and charges in no more than one hour.
Okay, the sound of these isn’t great — you’re never going to get *great* sound out of such tiny speakers. But really: you’re not buying these for The Best Sound Evar! You’re buying these for portability, and as far as that goes, these are awesome.
1: They recharge — you don’t have to mess with a bunch of batteries. Who needs that? Batteries are SO annoying to deal with on vacation. 2: they have a nice form factor — they compress and click together which makes them easy to store and carry. 3: The sound is actually quite good: Not super loud, but rich enough that I was able to listen to some Beethoven in the evenings on vacation and not be totally disappointed. 4: They’re not too expensive, especially compared to the competition.
One complaint – the really superbright power-indicator LEDs! We had to unplug these every night because otherwise the annoying LEDs were too bright and cast a weird blue glow into the room. Sort of annoying because we couldn’t have music to fall asleep to.
Basically, I just wanted to be able to play music on my vacation and not have to bring my laptop. These did the job just fine.
These speakers really do a great job at what they’re designed to do. They’re not designed to have market leading sound quality, but rather to allow the opportunity for clear and responsive sound in speakers that can pretty much go anywhere. The magnetic base and the ability to collapse the speakers into small pods for travel make them very smart. Rechargeable internal batteries are great and so far, after a full charge and about 5 hrs use, they do not show any signs of needing a recharge. Sound quality is impressive from such a small package. Of course, the bass response is minimal, but actually faintly there believe it or not. I found at loud volumes from my ipod, the speakers do distort a little bit, but I’m talking way loud. Louder than I’d like to listen, so it’s a non-issue really.
Excellent portable, rechargeable, mini speakers. Buy them, you’ll love em too.
I use them on the road. Takes some time to set up but the sound is like much bigger speakers
The speakers are really good, easy to use and to connect to the computer, the sound is excellent considering the size, they are light enough to carry them on my bag. I am satisfied with this purchase.
I like to hook up my iPod to whatever vehicle I’m driving when I’m at work, and twice I tried the more convenient retractable MP3 audio input cable, I think the brand might have been Belkin or Realtec or one of the big brands that make iPod accessorys. However, both times the hardware falls short- within weeks of use, it was necessary to twist the cable around because it was losing contact, and within months it just quit.
This Monster cable is solid and well built. I don’t forsee any of the same problems that I had with the more cheaply-made retractable cables. Monster makes quality products that are built to last- I still use Monster cables from my first surround sound system at home that I purchased in 2000.
I was looking for a good cable to hook up my ipod and this one was the perfect length – 3ft and sound quality is excellent. Build quality is great-typical Monster.
My son needed a new clock radio and I decided to go with one that could accept a MP3 player as an auxiliary device and I wanted to make sure the connecting cable wasn’t going to be the weak link — as they say, your system is only as good as the worst component.
This is a great quality cable — not a think twisty thing — with strong joins at the both end connectors.
The Zune sounds great playing through the Boston Acoustics HDUOIPW Duo-I Plus iPhone/iPod Dock AM/FM Stereo Radio and Clock Functions (Gloss White).
My only issue with the setup is that there is significant interference with the BA Radio causing a lot of static. It isn’t clear whether this is due to the cable, or more likely — the Zune, docking station and power cord for the Zune. But fortunately, hooking up and removing the Zune is so easy that isn’t a huge issue.

Order arrived on time. Intended to use in car to connect iphone to stereo system. Cable works with ipods and newer iphones. Older iphones need a longer prong on the plug as this has a shorter one than needed. As long as you have a 3G network iphone it will work (my son tried his newer iphone and it worked great). Glad I had an ipod that it would work for.
These things are small but the sound is large enough to disturb people in the next room. Easy to use, easy to transport, and easy on the ears. If you need speakers, these will do the job. Kind of cute too.
This is the second one of these speakers I have purchased. The first set, I pulled up on the spring loaded element and broke the wires. Knowing this I was extra careful with the new pair. One of the speakers has a switch that is shorting, sometimes it works and with the music playing it turns itself off. I had to turn it off and on again. I was really disappointed with this. These are not cheap speakers. I just think they are cheaply made. As I artfully chucked this piece of junk, I resigned to using my JBL soundstage, even though it is bigger than I wanted. it still works.
