I am one that likes putting my ipod on a lanyard, or sticking it in my pocket. I wanted to protect my ipod from anything in my pocket it might get scratched by, or just basic scratching from carrying it around all day. So this was perfect for the MAIN reason I bought it. I couldn’t loop it to anything and I don’t like the clip so I carried in my pocket. Two days after getting it, in my pocket, the clip part BROKE off. Which made me think that the design of where the clip part meets the holder part is thin and … obviously can easily break. But for the price and like I said the MAIN reason I bought it still functions well as just a protector. To anyone else who HAS to have it for a clip, I would get something else, something more sturdy. If you don’t mind paying a little more.

Why will my iPod nano chromatic not sync videos?
I just got the new 8GB iPod nano chromatic ipod nano chromatic and I bought some movies an tv shows off of iTunes. I checked the little box next to them but they will not sync onto my iPod. Does nayone know how to fix this??

I’m not sure why I bought this case. When I got it, the quality of the materials surprised me. A nice leather case with a magnetic latch in the back which closes easily. There is a headphone port and the top is kept open so you can still access the Lock slider on top of the iPod. The iPod actually fits pretty snugly in the case when you first put it in…but here comes the flaw. The design of the case, with the opening at the bottom, just DOESN’T WORK. Every time I’d unbutton the case and try to fiddle with the scroll wheel to change the song or adjust the volume, gravity would take hold, and the Pod would just start sliding out the bottom of the case. Now this just made it annoying to use, and not worth the protective qualities of the case.
Overall, a quality case that’s made unusable by its own design. Buy a top or side-flip case instead.
When I first recieved the case, I was surprised at the quality and snugness of the case. It closed and fastened well and it offered good protection against fingerprints and damage.
However, the first thing i noticed was that the only headphones that would fit into the ipod through the case were the iPod headphones, but even those took some force to get in through the small hole.
Also, the case offered no screen protection, so I still had problems with fingerprints and dust that could be annoying when trying to see the screen in sunlight.
Also, after a few weeks, the case seemed to get gradually looser and less convenient. If i opened the case to plug in different headphones or change the song, the iPod would almost always slip right out of the bottom of the case.
Overall, the quality and protection of the case isnt bad, but the design certainly has some flaws, and if you’re looking for some solid heavy protection, I would reccomend something else. If you really dont care about fingerprints or a loose case, go ahead and buy it, its a great deal.
My 4th and 5th Generation Nano both fit perfectly in it. The 5th generation screen is just a little bit longer so about one line of the choices of playlists may be harder to see, but it is still really functional with that minor exception. The price more than compensates for it. One is able to use the wheel to select and there is an opening for the lock on the top,to use when the case is closed. When putting the cord into the Ipod, you might have to shove the Ipod up a little and make sure the cord fits snugly into it, and then shove it back into place. One could recharge in it in the case also. It is great protection. I bought one for the 4th generation and tried it on the 5th and it fit perfect so I ordered a second one for my 5g IPod.
The leather case and screen protector both fit the iPod Nano 4th generation. The wall charger also works very nicely.
The cable you plug from your iPod Nano to the charger is a loser and doesn’t fit. But it doesn’t matter if you have the cable that came with you iPod Nano.
Overall, I recommend getting this order. It’s difficult to find a wall charger, screen protector, and a decent case for an iPod Nano 4th generation. And you get all of those things here.
While the clip lasted (about two weeks), it was unreliable because it didn’t close securely enough to hold the ipod onto my belt. Then it broke entirely.
I ordered this b/c it was exactly what I wanted…a plastic shell with a clip. For some reason I haven’t been able to find this very easily! Only thing is, I got it and it fits my ipod, but the opening for the circular touch dial is off a little. So, I think what happened is my ipod is a 5th generation, and this case was not made to fit that generation. I guess the screen got bigger on the latest version of the ipod nano, so this case won’t work for the newest ones. Otherwise it is great!
Who cares that it only cost $0.01? Its easy to use, but not well made. The clip broke off after the 4th time using it. Not worth it if it was free.
This product is not well made, although for the price I guess that is to be expected. The clip broke off of mine in a matter of days. If all you want is the clear plastic as a protector, you should be fine. If you want to use the clip, then go for something sturdier.

The item sent was for an older version and did not fit. This had a smaller screen area which does not work for the 5th generation ipods. Since it was so cheap, I decided not to go through the hassle to return it. But now my daughter does not have a protective cover for her Ipod.

This cover does not fit in properly with 5th gen nano ipod. I tried putting it on the ipod but was unable to remove it easily. was afraid that i will put scratch on the ipod only because of this.

I had to use my nail clipping to pull and squeeze the ends on and when it finally did, as you can see from the video I uploaded, the case does not fit on it perfectly. Mainly because of the wheel. You can see it’s shifted over to the left so there is space around the right of the wheel. The top and bottom where you reach for the hold buttom and to plug in the headphone jacks are really thick. The plastic itself seems very durable. Can’t complain because this was less then 2 dollars. So the price gives it 3 stars instead of 2 or 1. Honestly, I would have just got a real one.
Poor product quality. Doesnt fit properly. Main purpose of the product is not served. Waste of money
This armband does the job. The band seems kind of small. If your not a whus like me it might be too small for you.
