This started chipping the moment I put it on and came loose all the time. Most recently the top flew off as I was handing the phone to someone causing me to drop the phone onto a tile floor. Needless to say I would rather have no case than one that comes off all the time. Trash.

These cases look and feel great. But they break relatively easy. I am on my third on in 6 months. Everything about them is great. Just wish the tabs that hold it on were more durable. That was the first thing to break. Also dropping the second one irreparably cracked it.

When I bought my iPhone 3GS in July, I ordered one of these cases because a friend had one. It was great – that case saved my phone on a number of occasions – after taking too much abuse, the corner cracked and it started to hang up in my pocket. I bought a new one to replace it, and the new one stinks. It’s a looser fit, so the case wiggles around the phone and the plastic isn’t as rigid (contributing to the loose fit). In addition, the side “fingers” that locked the upper & lower pieces together are gone, so the corners of the lower piece now grab my pocket EVERY time I take it out. Without the locking fingers, the pieces aren’t tight together anymore.
iFrogz took a wonderful case and “improved” it so much, they ruined it.

These look cool & fit the phone nicely, but the thin plastic bar along the bottom of the phone (between the jack and where you speak into) is prone to cracking & snapping off. I tried crazy glue but it kept coming off. Currently shopping for a new case…

Loved the case but it connects with two very small tabs that fit very tightly into the top half. Half the time the tabs slip outside when closing the case and a little too much pressure and the tab breaks. Lasted a couple of months and the case is now useless. Highly recommend InCase cases, which slip together with a much more secure connection.

It was refurb which I buy often. Product worked fine (didn’t arrive when I expected to) but was a little disappointed in the overall appearence as it had a “used” look to it. I will continue to buy refurb but will be a little more cognizent of where I’m buying it from…….

I bought this iPod Touch for my wife knowing that she had mentioned wanting to bring her music with her. Shortly after she first got it started, I introduced her to the AppStore and she never looked back.

She doesn’t use it for music, she uses it for the little apps, mostly games, organizers and so forth. The amount of free applications is daunting and, though you can find thousands of them, you will likely only see the “top 50″ of type, popularity and so forth. Digging deeper can bring to light some gems, but you rarely get past the “50″ mark without having to go online to do your own research.

The cryptic way that the iPod works with iTunes and you music files has _always_ kept me from getting an iPod… I’ve personally vowed never to get one for myself because of the way it is handled. We’ve had some synchronizing accidents, erasing all downloaded applications, because of the way that you have to set up iTunes to work with the device. Simply annoying. Although I’ve had Mac owners tell me that iTunes works far better on a Mac, they still have to deal with this cryptic method of setting up the device. I know it is a method of self-preservation, but it is the main stumbling block that keeps me from investing further in any purchased items.

Other than that, it’s an organizer, alarm clock, wireless network finder and browser. It can do anything that the iPhone can do without the $60+data monthly fee. (Well, except make calls like a mobile phone and browse GPRS or 3G… :D ) She enjoys it and that’s what matters to me.

Though I can do some incredible things with it knowing that the core is Unix, it’s “closed system” requires you to do all of your restricted shopping/buying from the App Store. A money maker for Apple, but keeps the device woefully inside a tight confine of limits for it’s potential. The homebrew scene requires a Mac, no exceptions.

I enjoy it and my wife loves it! But I, personally, find the pain points of being force fed Apple products in a perpetual stream of Apple services via advertising and the App Store, plus the automation of iTunes handling along with the glut of advertising there, to simply not be for me.

I was really disgusted when i first opened the box and tried to power the iPod to find out that it will not work if i don’t connect it to a pc with iTunes. This is ridiculous! Period!
Compound to that the fact that you cannot open a “free” iTunes account unless you give a credit card regardless if you plan or not to purchase anything.
compound to the above the fact that you cannot upload download music between a pc and the iPod unless it is in the one and only computer that it has “bonded” with. I actually did not believe it could be the case until i reached an apple customer service person who told me that i could not take my music i loaded in the iPod at home and copy it on my office computer.
These facts all felt extremely unfriendly and targeted to exploit the owner of the device.
Well thank God for Hackers and their ingenuity to come and solve the problem for free.

It is a pity that such a marvel of engineering and design is partnered with such an exploitation of money making business.

I love this ipod but i think the battery dies to quick. Other than that it is a great product.

He can’t get enough of this 3rd generation IPod. He takes it EVERYWHERE! Every time he discovers something else he can do with it, he has to call and tell me. He has had so much fun with the touch screen and looking at the screen from different angles. He’s really not that easily entertained, but with this, the entertainment never stops for him.

Thank you Amazon, it was the perfect Christmas gift!

Fleming February 16, 2010 at 7:05 pm

Like everyone else has said, it’s not pratical to use. It looks very cool, but you just can’t see a thing in bright daylight. It leaves a dirty mark every time you touch the screen.

A bit tough to put on. Thick is great for durability but makes it impossible to use with case and have no bubbles. looks great on until it gets used the. Smudges and scratches are all you notice plus not easy to see In bright conditions

i love this mirror screen protector. i can used any where to fix my hair or put my makeup, it’s great.

Cass February 17, 2010 at 1:09 pm

Great Product! Inexpensive, easy to apply and use, protects really well against scuffs and fingerprint marks. Way better than the JAVOedge screen protector (Microswipes variety 4-pack) I also purchased and discarded.

Mirror works very well but becomes troublesome when under direct light as it reflects towards you.

This is a high quality case that looks good and functions well. The phone fits snuggly into the case and a flap folds over easily to provide extra protection. However, be careful. The belt clip fastens well but can easily come off of your belt if pushed or pulled in an upward motion. In a crowded area, you could run the risk of losing your phone. Most similar cases have the same short coming. Other than that concern, I found it to be a great buy. I purghased two and, so far. I am satisfied.

This case is so good, and i will encourage someone that need one for his/her iphone to get this case. But I really had a bad experience with the seller for the shipment, from when he send me a mail concerning the shipment and tracking number, it takes him more than one week to really go drop it off at the post office/UPS, even though i pleaded with him that i needed it urgently.

I bought 2 item from him and paid for two separate shipment, he package 2 of them in one envelope. I have made up my mind that I wont buy from him any more, no matter how good is the deal(price).
