I read the reviews and I agree, it’s well made, the leather is nice and soft, it protects your iPod, the magnetic snap is easy to use, etc. However, I found the case cumbersome when trying to use the device. I had to work at folding it back so I can get access to items on the far left. It’s like trying to keep the pages of a book open so you can read it. I kept pushing wrong buttons on the left and the right because the case gets in the way just a little.
So, for a protective case, it works. But, you’d almost have to take the iPod out of the case in order to really use it. I’m switching to a PixelSkin. It doesn’t protect the front of the iPod, but using the device is much easier.
Help answer the question about itouch 8gb
Is the price of the 8gb itouch going to be lowered ?
Is it going to itouch 8gb lower any soon ? Since the iphone 3g just came out i would think there would be a price cut on the 8gb itouch. Any info?....

I was scared at first of some of the bad reviews of this product, but I still decided to give it a try and by this mp3 player. I have never heard of PE before, but I knew I had made the right choice. When the product arrived with swift shipping, I opened it and immediately began to download music, videos, photos, and more. It is very easy to use, and the touchscreen is really responsive. The easy drag and drop downloading system made it very convenient. The sound quality is decent, but the small built in speaker is a little soft and could be louder. There is also one puzzle game in it. Video quality is good, and now I have many videos in it. It comes with many accessories, so you don’t need to buy anything extra, unlike the Ipod. Overall, I think this is the most worthwhile mp3 player ever and would definitely recommend it to any friend.

This is a stylish product that plays MP3 music and podcasts. It has a FM radio, a picture viewer and it plays videos with support for many popular file formats. Ironically, I am completely disappointed with Pyrus Electronics and this product.
We bought our player last October. After 5 months, the player audio failed, now unable to play any stereo audio. The nature of the failure strongly suggests that there is a latent defect that will appear in many of the units over time.
I contacted Pyrus Electronics. For my failed unit, customer service turned me away, citing a 90 day warranty. They did offer to sell me another unit at a modest discount off of list price. From my perspective, I’m not happy to give Pyrus Electronics another $35 for a $45 unit that will probably fail in a matter of months. I had no idea that the 90 day warrranty meant that the product was going to be so short lived. I’m surprised that they don’t want to know what went wrong with the product after so little time.
Pyrus Electronics does not publish a phone number; all support is provided by email only.
I recommend against the patronage of any company that doesn’t stand behind a flawed product.
I’m hoping that the folks at Pyrus will read this review and update their customor policies.
I got tis for my 16 year son for valentines day and he loves it. Thanks and it came very fast.
