great addition to the wii. allows me to play more detailed sports games in wii sports resort.

McKessy March 3, 2010 at 1:04 am

I guess it does make a difference but I am not sure it was worth the money. There are only a few games compatible right now.

As with any product there are always improvements and upgrades. Wii improved the gaming experience with this MotionPlus add-on. It does what it says by making your movements more accurate and therefore making the games more enjoyable to play. I am looking forward to more games coming in the future that take advantage of this device.

This extra control accesory works very well with games that support it.

Este accesorio extra para los controles funciona muy bien con los juegos que lo soportan.

I don’t notice a big difference. NHL is very difficult with the WII format!

I bought two of them plus Wii Play with Wii Remote
I have no problem, works great and synchronize with my wii without problems

A great game for up to four peoples. I bought three additional remotes so we could play without sharing a remote.

One need be careful. Some ppl think you need to get seriously physical and concsequently injure themselves. My grandson sits on the couch during bowling and gets strike after strike merely snapping the remote in a short motion. (kids his age know the cheat codes I guess)

As for me, I flail around, knock over expensive lamps, hit other participants, and sometimes fall down from too much alcohol (for those interest, expensive scotch works best.)

DO NOT BUY the knock-offs from Hong Kong (if it seems to cheaps, it is) as they suck worse than a hoover or electrolux. I initially bought three and ended up returning each as they did not work properly (slow balls ‘ha’) etc. and were very disappointing even considering the low cost. Get the real McCoy (unless you are a Hatfield)

Recieved product very quickly. Best deal I could find anywhere including shipping. Will definitely buy from this seller again. Very satisfied.

I bought this Wii remote as a second remote for the system. The first thing that tipped me off to this being a different controller than what was supplied with the Wii was that the controller was in a plastic blister pack. Nintendo usually doesn’t pack their stuff in blister packs… Usually in cardboard boxes.

So I opened it up and installed the batteries. The second thing that tipped me off is the silicone jacket still had mold flash where the mold separated and really wasn’t that protecting at all; the silicone was very flimsy and thin.

The buttons were also very different. They obviously clicked instead of smoothly breaking. Not an annoyance nor a problem but definitely a differentiator.

I was willing to pass on the jacket and the buttons, that is just cosmetic… then I synced it…

The rumble was not a strong rumble but was a weak, sickly sounding thing. It made more noise than vibration. In Wii Sports Boxing, the remote would not track the same, I had to hold my Wii hand up at a much higher angle just to equal the Nunchuck; right hooks were IMPOSSIBLE!

I really think Nintendo has licensed out their wii remote design to a third party with an agreement. I do not think that this is a knockoff, but obvious quality control issues are present (less fallout from manufacturing means lower manufacturing cost = lower price or higher profit). I returned this one, went to BestBuy where the remote came in a box, and have been happy since.

WiiWhen I bought a Wii system I also purchased a second Wii remote controller. Good move on my part. My husband and I “bowl” several games every day and it is convenient for each of us to have our own controller. I would recommend that anyone purchasing the Wii system consider the purchase of a second controller.

The Wii Sports Resort is a great set of games. I originally played this game at a relatives home and instantly fell in love with it. I have some mobility issues and when I tried out some of these games I realized I was able to get up and move around without a ton of effort, and all the while I was having a blast. I went home and bought myself a Wii system shortly after that and this was the first game I sought to buy. Mainly because it has several games within the one. I love playing all of the games, they are great fun. I’ve heard some people complain about the graphics and although I somewhat agree that in this age of technology you would think the graphics would be more advanced but for a video game I think you can adjust to it. It does take a couple of rounds of any one of the games to get the feel for the controler in that particular game but once you play them a bit you’ll get the feel for each one.

This game is well worth it’s price because it gives you several games within it to keep you busy for hours. I give it a solid thumbs up!

bought this for my wife and I as a Valentine’s day present. We received the Wii for X-mas and have had a lot of fun with it. Enjoy Wii Resort as well, although once you reach pro level in Kendo it becomes increasingly frustrating as the opponents become impossible to beat. You’ll win one and then they’ll win the next two over and over again.
Frisbee is fun and kinda relaxing as well as archery although archery requires timing rather than any real accuracy in aiming. My wife LOVES Kendo and she’s quite good at golf.
The controls are a little to motion sensitive for power cruising in my opinion.Overall, its a fun addition to the Wii canon.

I played the game at my sister’s house for Christmas. We did boys versus girls and we kicked butt. It was fun, so I decided to purchase my own copy. I didn’t get to scan through all the games while at my sister’s but had expected there to be more. I was somewhat disappointed to find the limited amount of games. Don’t get me wrong, the games on there are great, and I still really like my Wii Sports Resort. However, I received it in the mail and played through most of them with my husband the same night in like two or three hours. Granted we didn’t play every single mode of basketball, for example, but we sampled one of each game, got bored, and turned it off. It’s an awesome game for company. I’ll be taking this game out whenever I have visitors.

This game is extremely fun for one person or more! The Wii wheel makes it even more fun. I would recommend this game for all ages.

My sister purchased this, and so I played it over at her place. There are a lot of good racing stages, and that is what most people buy this game for. I’ve always preferred the “Battle Mode”, though. So, while the racing stages are incredible and a few new items and challenges have been added, the “Battle Mode” has become more of a battle against the PC than other players. In previous games, it was just you and anyone else you could get to play. Now, you don’t have that option, which takes away the fun because there’s no real competition, since the AI is not very bright, but always gets in the way, and there are usually large obstacles in the battle levels that can take you out. So, rather than “Battle Mode”, I’d call this “Survival Against the AI Mode”.

I have not stopped playing this game since I got it for Christmas. I am addicted to this game because it is so much fun. This is a must have game for anyone with a WII. This game is just not for kids. I am in my 40’s and love playing this game. What could be more fun than trying to destroy everyone as you race to the finish line. It could get nasty at times but really alot of FUN. I just wish they had more tracks because I do get tired of racing the tracks night after night. I’ve tried other racing games such as Speed Racer and Excite Bots and they are fun too but nowhere are Great as Mario Kart. I just hope they come out with a Mario Kart 2 with new tracks. Looking forward to the new Sonic Racing Game but Mario Kart is still The Best Racing Game EVER!!!!

Disney March 20, 2010 at 1:52 am

I bought this game for my grandson who is 8 years old, and he loves it. His sister who is 4 years old plays it too. She couldn’t do it at first, but now she sometimes beats her brother. Neither one use the wheel – they prefer the standard control.

Diaz March 21, 2010 at 1:51 am

It is a fun, addicting game the online is alright but frustrating at times. I drove over a hundred miles from my home looking for this game and this is the only place I could find it.
